Country Reports

Country reports are issued by the Special Rapporteur after conducting a fact-finding mission to a UN member state. These report assess the health of assembly and association rights in that particular country and provide recommendations to the government on how to improve. Reports are initially shared with the concerned government, and later made public and presented before the Human Rights Council. The government is invited to issue a written response to the report, which is also made public.
